SRADC
Privacy Policy (English)
“SRADC” is the official Android app of Shanarpar Rowshan Ara Degree College (Siddhirganj, Narayanganj). It opens the college website sradc.edu.bd and, for student/guardian/teacher login and online payment, the Sikkhaloy portal hybrid.sikkhaloy.com.
1. How the app works
It is a WebView app. Home and information pages (notices, admission, gallery, etc.) load from sradc.edu.bd; the login page loads from hybrid.sikkhaloy.com. Results, attendance, fees and similar data live on the college’s Sikkhaloy server; the app does not keep its own separate database.
2. Information processed
- Login: username/password are sent over HTTPS; a session cookie stays in the WebView.
- Account/academic data: names, IDs, attendance, results, fees, notices, etc. as held by the college.
- Photos/files: only when you choose the camera or gallery for an upload; uploaded over HTTPS.
- Downloads/print: files you download go to the phone’s Downloads folder; print opens the system print dialog (including Save as PDF).
- Contact: call, WhatsApp and e-mail buttons on the Contact page open the phone’s own apps; the app stores nothing.
3. Camera
- The camera opens only when you choose to take a photo for upload (or when a trusted HTTPS college/portal page needs live camera).
- If you deny permission you can still pick files from the gallery.
- The microphone is not used. No background photography; nothing is shared for advertising.
4. What the app does not do
- No ads and no analytics SDKs.
- Data is never sold.
- No location, contacts, SMS or broad storage-scan permissions (downloads use Android DownloadManager).
5. Sharing and security
Data is used only by the college and its software provider (Sikkhaloy) to run academic services. Connections use HTTPS. Data is not shared with other third parties except where required by law. Payment card/wallet details entered on a payment gateway’s own pages follow that gateway’s policy; the app does not store them.
6. Access, correction and deletion
Accounts are created by the college. To access, correct or delete data, contact the college office using the phone, WhatsApp or e-mail below. Uninstalling clears the on-device session; server records follow the college’s retention rules.
7. Children
There is no in-app sign-up. No advertising; no data is taken from children beyond what the college needs.
